I remember being struck by the sadness and beauty of the inscription. Particularly the detail about his mother. I encountered the headstone when I was 19 on a trip to Great Britain. I think I'm older now than he was when he died. I recalled the name and the graveyard, but not the inscription, so I would be very grateful to see it again. I want also to write a poem/song about it; if I can find the words.
